TRUE TALENTED TANIA


Tania Gunadi was born on 29 July 1983 in Bandung, West Java. She won a green card lottery 12 years ago and moved to Los Angeles with just US$ 200 and spoke English with very thick Sundanese accent. But Tania was so lucky, she auditioned for a Disneyland commercial for Japan and America and she booked the part. She loved acting in the commercial so much that she decided that she wanted to be an actress, but she knew she needed to work hard. So she took the acting class, English and Accent Reduction classes while working at Pizza Hut cleaning the floor and washing dishes to pay for her classes. Within a year, Tania started getting roles on American television and films.

Tania was best known for series where she filmed 35 episodes for 2 years as a female hero Emma Lau on Disney XD series Aaron Stone (2009), as Miko Nakadai in a TV series that won 4 Emmy Awards and 11 nominations Transformers Prime (2010), and My Music (2012) a new web series that produced and directed by Fine Brothers for YouTube premium channel. 


Her breakthrough started starring roles in Disney Channel original films Even Steven (2002), Pixel Perfect (2004), Go Figure (2005) and her role as Princess Dee in Disney Junior's Imagination Movers (2012). Her film resume includes Hallmark Hall of Fame The Magic of Ordinary Days, feature film Bob Funk, Possession and  animated feature film Adventures in Zambezia alongside Samuel L. Jackson and Jeff Goldblum. She has also had guest appearances in It's Always Sunny in Philadephia, Boston Public, The Inside, Wiener Park.

Tania has done numerous well known commercials and print works in America and international for the last 8 years. She appeared in some commercial such as Honda, Target and IBM international. She also supports Alley Cat Allies, a nonprofit advocacy organization dedicated to transforming communities to protect and improve the lives of cats.
